This project included the substantial refurbishment of a Grade II listed Victorian Post Office and sorting house for conversion into a series of luxury apartments with basement car parking. Substantial cost savings were made by strengthening the existing ground floor slab and strategically reducing the extent of basement masonry walls in order to create a functional car park and external courtyard at minimal cost.
